Welcome.
I am a psychotherapist providing individual therapy to adults from a humanistic and relational psychoanalytic perspective. I received my MSW from Columbia University, and did a two year training program in psychoanalytic therapy at Karen Horney Clinic in New York City. I’m based in NYC, have roots in Alabama, and see clients online in both states.
If you are feeling disconnected, alone, or that you don’t quite fit, I hope you will allow me to help you bring your most authentic self into your life and relationships, nurture your internal resources, and develop new ways of being in the world that feel better to you. You may be struggling with relationship difficulties, anxiety, anger, depression, shame, attachment or identity issues, or trying to sort out the impact of painful experiences in your past. Whatever brings you to therapy, I welcome your whole self.
I work from a humanistic and relational psychoanalytic perspective, but I believe in tailoring therapy to fit you. My style is collaborative, warm, and inquisitive – I am deeply curious about your experience and do my best to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore.
